All in Vision & Plan

Lesson 1: What Makes a Great Business Great?

This lesson lays the groundwork for the rest of the course. Before we dig into the tactical work of running your business better, I want to make sure you and I are on the same page. I’m going to cover three areas in this lesson including the history of business, basic business definitions, and what makes a business great. This will give you some context as you go through the rest of the course.

Lesson 2: Understanding Your Products & Customers

There are three key elements in a business, and in this lesson we’re going to take a hard look at two of them; your products and your customers. I’m going to walk you through the importance of answering the key questions, “What do you sell?” and “To whom do you sell it?”. You’ll then be able to use your answers to these questions to build your elevator speech. I’ll cover the third key element, "What are you trying to build?", starting in Lesson 5.

Lesson 3: Understanding Workflow

The whole point of this lesson is to get organized. We’ll talk about organizing your time, space, and work. The concepts in this lesson are critical if you want to run your business better, because bad organization is a huge drain on productivity. In fact, being well-organized is the single most important key to being productive. If you apply what you learn, you’ll get more work done every day and be more likely to accomplish your goals.

Lesson 4: Doing the Right First Things First

This lesson is the heart and soul of my course. This is where I give you my framework on how to solve any problem that you have in your business, from the biggest all the way down to the smallest. If you can get really good at solving business problems, then you’ll be on your way to running the business of your dreams. You’ll learn how to answer the ever-present question, “What should I be working on now?”

Lesson 5: 3-Year Vision

This is where the bulk of work in my course begins. In this lesson, we’ll start the process of developing a model of your perfect business. You’ll do the work of imagining the best business that you could ever dream of having. From there we’ll take a clear picture of the ideas you have in your head, and create your own 3 Year Vision for your business.

Lesson 6: 3-Year Plan

Now that you’ve got a picture in your head of where you want your business to end up, you need a roadmap that tells you how to get there. I call this roadmap your 3 Year Plan, and in this lesson we will address the “how” of accomplishing your vision. I am going to teach you my step-by-step planning model that you can use to create a roadmap for each piece of your vision.

Lesson 7: Implementation & Assessment

Many people have dreams and plans for their business that never become a reality. Now that you’ve done all the work of creating a vision for your perfect business and building a plan for how to create that business, you need the necessary tools to help you stay on track. In this lesson, we’ll talk about the importance of accountability to your vision and how you can hold yourself and others accountable to accomplishing your organization’s goals.
